Welcome to Helping Hands Garden Care. My name is Jane and I have been a keen gardener since a very young age. During my student years, I worked my summers for a landscape designer and have helped many family and friends over the years with their gardens. Recently, I have completed a diploma in garden design and maintenance.
I have been blessed with two children, both of whom are autistic and are the biggest inspiration to opening helping hands garden care. Seeing first hand the difficulties SEND parents face with trying to obtain therapies, Drs appointments, and educational support, it doesn't leave much time for things like gardening. But the garden can be such an important safe space for children and adults alike and can be a blessing for mental wellbeing. This is why I have decided to open Helping Hands garden care so I can help make safe spaces for vulnerable families to enjoy. If you are a parent or carer to a disabled child/adult, a single parent, pensioner, if you are disabled yourself or if you are in need of my help please don't hesitate to get in touch. We offer 8 free hours of garden services and a discounted hourly rate at the end of the 8 hours if you still require our services.
Services are also available for non vulnerable households at very reasonable rates. A percentage of the money earned will be used so that vulnerable households can receive these services for free/at discounted rates. This means that by choosing my services, you will be helping a vulnerable household too.
